Are you ready to bid at Auction?
Before you bid at Auction, ensure you are fully prepared with our tips below.
Finances & Deposit
Will your deposit be 5% or 10% of the purchase price, or a pre-determined amount?
If your deposit is not going to be 10% of the purchase price, please let me know prior to the auction. Personal cheques, bank cheques & counter cheques are all acceptable. Any cheques should be made payable to: LJ Hooker Dickson ACT Sales Trust.
Alternatively, you can pay the deposit via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). If you plan to pay the deposit via EFT, please ensure that you bank has increased your daily limit.
If you plan on paying the deposit via a deposit bond, please speak with me. I will need to inform the owner of this method prior to the auction, as it is not always acceptable.
Are you in a position to exchange contracts unconditionally?
If you are the successful bidder, you will sign & exchange contracts unconditionally.
Do you need to change the settlement terms?
If you wish to alter the length of settlement, please speak with me prior to the auction. I will be able to seek the owners’ acceptance to these terms, so that you can bid with confidence.

If you do not have a solicitor, I am happy to recommend one.
